Response to 24 Signs You Spent Summers On Cape Cod:
From a girl who was born in the Cape Cod Hospital: CHILL THE F OUT. Do you never go on vacation? Do you never go ANYWHERE ELSE, where you, the minute you enter, become a tourist? We’re all tourists somewhere, and I like that some people find our home to be beautiful and entertaining enough to enjoy it. I have an incredibly strong feeling that you’re one of those people that never left the Cape. Trust me, you shouldn’t brag about that.
I think that’s exactly what they are going for. The problem is that today, in a culture almost defined by, or obsessed with technology, people forget that there are wonderful free opportunities to read. They AREN’T going to the library and checking out a book. They are on their phones. These students are appealing to people in their technology element and reminding them that this book is FREE at the library. This idea is not a replacement for it, but rather a spokesperson reminding people that the library is still a great option to get the latest best sellers for free.

CLASSIC COPYRANTER. Anyone remember his attack on the Nike overweight kid? It was along the lines of “I was never great and never will be and so this kid will never be either.” http://www.buzzfeed.com/copyranter/nikes-great-fat-kid-commercial-is-not-great You’re right. You aren’t great. But that doesn’t mean you have to make reading this article miserable for the rest of us too. Please stop.
