This Mom Hilariously Proved To Her Daughter She Did The Underwater Pregnancy Shoot Before Beyoncé

Let the record show. :gavel noise:

Harris told BuzzFeed News before giving birth to Giovani in December, her mom decided to do an underwater maternity photo shoot "in order to get over her childhood fear of water after almost drowning," she explained.

And it just so happened that a little over a month later, one Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter also released underwater pregnancy photos via her website. (HMMMM.) Harris said when Beyoncé's photos came out on Thursday, she immediately got a text from her mom.

Adams was hilariously quick to get it on record for her daughter that she did this first — and better, she said defiantly. She also added, addressing the Queen directly, "Catch up Bey."

Harris laughed when she got the texts. "My mom is probably one of the funniest people I know, so I wasn't surprised," she said.

She also did humor her mom's statements and agreed that she "did it best," might have even inspired Beyoncé's photo shoot — kiddingly, of course.

"My mom is definitely popping!"

Harris, however, had no idea that a her mom's photos and remarks would get so much love when she shared it on Twitter. In one day it's been retweeted over 21,000 times.

my mom is extremely annoying😂 "catch up Bey" 😭

"I didn't expect this to go viral simply because anyone who knows my mom and I know that I get goofy texts like this from my mom all the time!" she said.

People are not only enamored with Adams' pregnancy photos, they are giving her credit where credit is due.

@popitforlola ok but ya mama did that sis

@popitforlola go head mama ! Let her know 😩

Someone has even made the bold claim that mom's photos are better.

@popitforlola hers actually is better tho 😳

Adams, at the very least, has made some new fans.

@popitforlola I love this! Your mom did killed it!!

@popitforlola 😂 ICONIC. Your mom just got a new fan.

The Panamanian flag hanging in the background of her photo had a lot of people — Panamanian or not — really hyped.

@popitforlola this is really some Panamanian shit 😭

@popitforlola lmfao Panameños are funny af

While Harris is loving these comments, she wants to clarify that her mom is not Panamanian — her husband is. The photos were actually taken in California.

@popitforlola the Panamanian flag just sold me. Damn near a tie 😂🇵🇦

But people are just floored by mama Adams' boldness all around.

@popitforlola 😂😂😂 breh "catch up bey"

@popitforlola mama said catch up 😂
