Cartoon Character Skeletons

These geeky anatomy lessons by Michael Paulus show us what lies underneath our favorite cartoon characters.

The Knitted Skeleton

Artist Ben Cuevas created this impressively detailed hand-knit skeleton for a mixed-media piece entitled Transcending the Material. The exhibit, installed for the Wassaic Project, consists of the knitted skeleton meditating atop Borden's milk tins while disembodied body parts float overhead. I'll never look at my sweater the same way again. (From, via)

The Skeleclava

The Skeleclava is your best friend when it's cold outside and you want to scare your friends. [Ed. note: As therblig points out in the comments: "With a little modification and different colored yarn, that could be transformed into a cthulhu or zoidberg variation."]
