Donald filed for divorce from his wife Shelly in August, a year after she finalized the sale of the Los Angeles Clippers.
A judge ordered the Los Angeles woman to return $2.6 million to Donald Sterling's wife, Shelly, who argued that the money was her community property.
Judge says sale of team to ex-Microsoft CEO can move forward.
Sterling will take the NBA to court over its efforts to wrest control of the L.A. Clippers away from him.
"Here’s a man I don’t know if I should say this, he acts so holy. He made love with every girl in every city in America, and he had AIDS," Sterling said about Johnson.
Shelly Sterling owns 50% of the team, which she plans to hold onto even as the NBA explores ways to force her estranged husband out of the league.
