Over the past eight years, Spanish photographer, Txema Salvans has compiled a photo study titled The Waiting Game, which illustrates the lives of some spanish prostitutes. Salvans wanted to shed light on this forgotten and lonely form of prostitution. Throughout the study, Salvans disguised himself while driving down the highways capturing the images. This anonymous and impersonal view of his subjects offers a glimpse into the vulnerability and lives of these women.
Secret Service Agents Paid 9 Of 12 Women They Brought Back To Hotel
Agency officials have interviewed 10 of the 12 women agents brought back to the Hotel Caribe in Cartagena, and say 9 of them were paid for sexual services. Some Secret Service agents have also submitted to lie detector tests, but others have refused — including the supervisor who tried to underpay an escort, kicking the scandal off in the first place.
Secret Service May Also Have Visited Sex Workers In El Salvador
An anonymous source told CNN that Secret Service agents paid for sex at a strip club in San Salvador in March 2011. The owner of the club said his establishment "routinely takes care of" US Embassy employees, FBI agents, and Drug Enforcement Agency officials as well.
