Lawyer Who Sued Bryan Singer And Other Hollywood Figures Apologizes
Jeff Herman had filed a number of civil lawsuits alleging that several entertainment executives had sexually abused an underage actor. The attorney now concedes some of the allegations were false but his apology does not mention Singer.

X-Men director Singer and attorneys on both sides of the case agreed to settle the lawsuit for $100,000 in June, a document obtained by BuzzFeed shows. But Michael Egan, the man suing Singer for sex abuse, refused to agree to the settlement. Now, Egan’s lawyer has dropped him. Another document shows that three other people — two of them previously undisclosed — had retained a lawyer to sue Singer.
Former NBC President Accused In Hollywood Sex Ring Case Files Motion To Dismiss
All four men accused of sexual abuse by Michael Egan have now filed motion to dismiss the cases. Individuals close to former NBC President Garth Ancier and Michael Egan wrote in declarations Ancier wasn't on trips to Hawaii where he's accused of abuse.

Attorney Martin Singer called the filing of lawsuit accusing Bryan Singer of sexual abuse last week "reckless and irresponsible." He said the director was shooting a movie out of the country when the abuse allegedly occurred.
