Christopher Nolan Says Goodbye To The Batman Franchise
In a foreword for The Art and Making of The Dark Knight Trilogy, the director of the trilogy pens his farewell. "I will miss the Batman," he writes. (The book was released the same day as the film but the letter was only recently published on the Internet.)
Two Teaser Trailers For "Man Of Steel" Released
The upcoming Zack Snyder (and co-writer/producer Christopher Nolan) Superman reboot has released TWO official trailers today. The spots are essentially the same, but feature different voice-overs: one from Superman's real father Jor-El (played by Russell Crowe) and another by his adoptive farmer father Pa Kent (played by Kevin Costner).
Listen To Tom Hardy As Bane In 'The Dark Knight Rises'
Check out this clip from Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises, recorded on location at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh. It's a pretty climactic moment, and, even though you're just listening to Tom Hardy as Bane, it is a teensy bit spoiler-ish. It's also pretty interesting what Hardy does with Bane's voice and accent. Catwoman Update (Spoiler Alert)
Nevermind the fake full-body pic of Anne Hathaway's Catwoman that spun around the Web yesterday. Some legit news related to "The Dark Knight Rises" villain has come to light. According to sources, Selina Kyle's roundly criticized costume seen here is not complete (phew!), and "she has a history of abuse and works as a stripper and is also a pickpocket." (via.)
Batman Vs. Bane
We've already seen Batman busting a gut, and the Desert Storm model of the Batmobile, but here's a whole new slew of photos from the Pittsburgh shoot of "The Dark Knight Rises." Along with Christian Bale and Tom Hardy slugging it out, we can also see our first glimpses of Marion Cottilard as (probably) Talia al Guhl and what appears to be a new Batpod cycle. Also, an adorable photo of some newlyweds who were allowed to get their photo taken with the Tumbler.
