Mooboo Bubble Tea has dropped its policy of asking people to work training shifts without pay after allegations that some people worked up to 40 hours unpaid, following “recent feedback”.
The company denied the allegation on Facebook, though BuzzFeed News has seen emails that appear to show one manager did specify there would be "no pay" for 40 hours.
