What Kind Of Posh Are You Actually?

You may prepare a lunchtime kale salad from time to time, but you're not actually all that posh. Your kitchen is kitted out with Le Creuset pots and pans, but only because you genuinely spend a lot of time cooking. You work pretty hard, and that's why you can afford nice things. But, deep down, you're pretty down to earth and you're not at all snobby. Basically, you've perfected the balance!

Middle class

Posh? What does that even mean? It's not really in your vocabulary, is it? You're proud not to be posh. In fact, posh people really annoy you. You work hard, and you don't appreciate it when people are handed everything on a silver plate without having to put the hard graft in. Stay grounded. It's the best place to be.

Definitely not posh

Your family's recently come into a lot of money, and you can't wait to spend it. You like anything shiny, whether that's brand new jewelry or flashy new cars. Some people think you can be a bit flash with your cash, but you know that if you've got it you should flaunt it. Your house is beautifully designed, and your hair always looks perfect. Lucky you!

Nouveau riche

You grew up in the countryside, and you try to get out of the city as much as possible. You're at your happiest when you're horse riding, or taking the dog out for a walk in your Hunter wellies and Barbour jacket. You shopped in Jack Wills when you were younger, and don't think there's anything wrong with going to work in a shirt and gilet. But whatever, you know you look great in it and that's what matters!

You have a good job, a gorgeous house, and a perfect family. To other people, it may seem like your life is perfect, but you know you've worked hard for what you've got. You work out regularly, and you always make sure you take your kids to school yourself - even though you do have house help. You always have Jo Malone candles burning in your house, and you're an excellent cook. Good for you!

West London posh

You're a top lad. You went to public school, you were in a drinking society at Oxbridge, and now you're one of the most popular people in your accountancy firm. You may be a high-flying career person these days, but that doesn't mean you've lost your sense of humour. You love a banterous prank as much as the next person, and you're always the life and soul of every party you go to.

Banterously posh

You're properly posh. Your family are posh, your school was posh, and as a result you're posh yourself. For you, Henley Royal Regatta is the event of the year, and you always dress to impress. You care about your appearance and spend a lot of time wearing Ralph Lauren shirts and red trousers. From time to time, you've been known to tie a jumper around your neck, but only because it's practical. Besides, you look great no matter what you wear.

You're all about being spotted with the right people at the right parties, which you always manage to achieve. You regularly feature in Tatler's Bystander pages, and your 18th birthday party was covered by your local newspaper. You're incredibly well dressed, and very well groomed, which means you always have a queue of eligible people wanting to date you. You lucky thing!

You're pretty damn posh. You were sent off to boarding school as a child, and never looked back. You're well-read, you have a great job, and you exclusively surround yourself with high-achieving people. Your house is gorgeous, your clothes are beautiful, and you never have a hair out of place. A lot of people are envious of your lifestyle, but you know you've worked hard for what you've got.
