In movies and on TV, love usually seems so simple — the hardest thing any couple has to deal with is long distance or one of them "cheating" while they were on a break.
But in real life, love is much more complicated. Especially if you or your significant other struggles with a mental illness.
Has your significant other ever done something that really helped you deal with your mental illness?
Maybe they had the idea to make a code word for when you get anxious in public and need to go somewhere quiet.
Maybe they helped you clean your room when you were too depressed to do it alone.
And maybe they just gave you the tightest, longest hug when you really needed it.
Whatever they've done to make you feel better, we'd love to hear about it. Please submit your story in the DropBox below for the chance to be featured in an upcoming BuzzFeed Community post or video!
