    P. Diddy's "I Need A Girl (Part One)" Was The Best R&B Song Of The Early 2000s

I need a girl to ride, ride, ride.

Diddy — Sean Combs, Puff Daddy, P. Diddy — has been blessing us with his talents since the '90s, but he truly owned the aughts.

Remember when he coined the term "bitchassness" on Making The Band? I still use it to this day.

Anyway, in 2002, Diddy gave us "I Need A Girl (Part One)", which is probably the best R&B song of the '00s.

It begins with a thoughtful Diddy taking off his sunglasses and staring into the camera.

    Then fades into a party...

    Bad Boy /

...where a pensive Usher stands alone surrounded by beautiful ladies.

    Bad Boy /

Oh, and there's a random room somewhere and Diddy and Usher are just in there dancing.

    Bad Boy /

Then Diddy starts to talk about how unfulfilled his love life is. He needs a wife, not some regular-ass girl.

    Bad Boy /

Do Tiffany and Nancy know this?

Usher has to take off his sunglasses because things are getting serious.

    Bad Boy /

Do you know what it's like trying to find the perfect girl, YOUR SOULMATE?

    He also does this thing.

And, in true early 2000s Usher fashion, lifts his shirt.

    Bad Boy /

    Oh shit! Remember Loon?!

There's so much going on in this video. For instance, Carl Thomas's turtleneck and hat game.

    Bad Boy /

I recently went on a search for the perfect turtleneck and, apparently, this guy has them all.

Usher takes off his sunglasses again!

    Bad Boy /

Maybe because he realizes wearing sunglasses inside makes no damn sense.

There's this little move, which I am so obsessed with.

    Bad Boy /

Then Diddy spends the last half of the song singing about a woman who is probably Jennifer Lopez.

    Bad Boy /

    I mean, let's be real.

Take a little time out of your day to relive this beautiful moment in music history.
