Last week, I picked up these glass ornaments and wanted to challenge myself to find 12 cool ways to fill them with supplies I had on hand! Now, I realize that not everyone has sequins or paper straws laying around, but I'm pretty sure a lot of you have some tinsel, tissue paper, and some glitter! All you have to do is literally open the glass ball and pop in the supplies. Get creative and share what other ideas you might have in the comments!

Note: Pick up the ornaments at a local craft store or at Walmart! You'll find both plastic and glass varieties. Plastic might be a better go to if you have kiddos or cats! Ain't nobody got time to clean up a broken mess!

1. Mardi Gras Bead Ornament

Mardi gras beads add instant sparkle to an ornament and take your tree up a notch. Who knew plastic beads could look so chic?

2. Paper Straw Ornament

Those little paper straws you see in the party aisle are all the rage right now. Get crafty and cut them up for an ornament that will stand out from the crowd!

3. Tinsel Ornament

That cheap tinsel from your Grandmother's holiday stash may look a bit tired on the tree, but inside an ornament it looks like a million bucks!

4. Ribbon Ornament

Whether you use sheer, grosgrain, satin, or even the curling kind, ribbon will look amazing and fill out the inside of your ornament. An easy and cheap solution too!

5. Pom Pom Ornaments

The Target Dollar Spot and Dollar Tree had a great sampling of pom poms this year! Inside an ornament, they really stand out in all their crafty glory!

6. Wire Tinsel Ornament

You know that wirey tinsel that's pretty, but you never know what to exactly do with it? Well, stuff it inside an ornament for some instant beautiful bling!

7. Pipe Cleaner Ornament

Perk up an ornament with wire pipe cleaners a.k.a. chenille stems. I used about 8 pipe cleaners to fill this one!

8. Glitter Ornament

Believe me, a little glitter goes a LONG way...you don't even have to have glue or floor wax like you see in some tutorials to make this one! FYI - The static inside the glass keeps the glitter sticking to the sides.

9. Faux Snow Ornament

There was some cool faux snow in a few different sizes at the Dollar Tree and I picked up a couple packages! This stuff is really cool to fill an ornament, though a bit messy! Would be great for ornament snow globes too!

10. Crushed Tissue Paper Ornament

Don't throw away the tissue paper this season, keep it to craft with for next year! I crushed up some sparkly tissue paper to make this ornament and it fills the ornament nicely, kinda making a flowery design!

11. Feather Ornament

Feathers make beautiful ornaments! Go with classic white feathers or colorful varieties! Peacock feathers also look amazing inside the glass!

12. Sequin Ornament

Break out the sequins and make this simple ornament. Blowing inside the glass once the sequins are in will cause them to stick to the sides! A static-y environment will do this as well, but you can always add a light coat of decoupage medium inside if you really want them to stick permanently!
