Response to How To Tell Good People From Bad People:
Too bad if Mother, or more likely Daddy, is one of the ‘bad’ people.
In fact, the good/bad distinction is problematic; as we know, few people are totally ‘bad’, and sometimes good people do bad things.
On the other hand, I used to read a book called, “It’s OK to say No” which was a similar book from the ’90s that showed kids by means of a bunch of scenarios how to negotiate dangerous situations, in both public and private spaces, and it helped my son extricate himself from a potentially abusive situation when he was 10. So there’s definitely nothing wrong with the concept.
