Today, thousands of MAGA rioters stormed the Capitol in Washington, DC. A mob forced entry into the building while Congress was meeting, in an attempt to stage a coup and install Donald Trump as president for a second term, despite his election loss.
The scene in DC is incredibly grim right now. A woman was shot, the city is in chaos, and Trump has declined to take any decisive action against the mob working on his behalf. And many people have noticed how muted the police response has been when compared to the way police handled Black Lives Matter protests this summer.
