    Michelle Obama Went To Marriage Counseling With Barack And Her Story Is So Powerful

    In a new interview with ABC News, Michelle Obama revealed that she and Barack have been through marriage counseling — and her message is one that everybody should hear.

    "Marriage counseling for us was one of those ways where we learned how to talk out our differences," Obama tells Robin Roberts in the interview.

    And she opens up about some of the ways that counseling helped them move forward:

    What I learned about myself was that my happiness was up to me. And I started working out more. I started asking for help. Not just from him, but from other people. I stopped feeling guilty.

    "I know too many young couples who struggle, and think that somehow there's something wrong with them," she adds.
