This Viral Tweet About "Love Actually" Is Completely Melting My Brain Right Now

All I want for Christmas is to unsee this.

It's the holiday season, my friends, and you know what that means: It's time to watch Love Actually and ugly-cry over some eggnog.

But this year, I'll be crying for a different reason. I just learned a fact about the movie that has absolutely RATTLED ME.

Remember Keira Knightley's character, Juliet? She's the wife of Peter, but Peter's friend Mark has a huge crush on her, and shows up at her doorstep with some signs telling her so.

And do you also remember Thomas Brodie-Sangster's character, Sam? He's the little boy who learns the drums to impress his crush at school.

K. Well. Did you know that these two actors are just FIVE YEARS APART in age???

Yearly reminder that there is only a five year age gap between Thomas Brodie-Sangster and Keira Knightley in Love Actually

It's true! Thomas was 13 years old in Love Actually, while Keira was just 18.

This lil' factoid is currently going viral on Twitter thanks to London-based actor Madeleine Lloyd-Jones, who tweeted it out to her followers on Saturday. It's since garnered over 100,000 likes, and a lot of shocked reactions:

Like, Keira and Thomas look like they are VASTLY different ages:

@madelexne @wheatles He looks 5 and she looks 25

And a few commenters pointed out how strange it is that Keira Knightley was playing that role at just 18 years old:

@madelexne So Kiera Knightley was 18, Marrying 26 year old Chiwetel Ejiofor, whilst being perved after by 30 year old Andrew Lincoln. Coolcoolcool

"Despite its many issues, I watch Love Actually every year fondly," Madeleine told BuzzFeed. "It’s just a funny fact that the age gap between most of the couples is larger than that of Thomas Brodie-Sangster and Keira Knightley!"

This actually isn't the first time this disturbing piece of Love Actually trivia has gone viral. Last year, Tumblr was rocked to its core by a user who posted this:

Well, I think it's safe to say I will never watch this movie the same way again. Happy holidays, y'all!
