Kris Jenner Told Kim To Run Away The Night Before Her Wedding To Kris Humphries

    Well, sometimes mother knows best.

HEAR YE, HEAR YE: I have for you today a harrowing story — one of love, of loss, and of $10 million televised weddings. I call it A Tale of Two Krisses.

So the Kardashian family just gave an expansive interview to The Hollywood Reporter — and in it, Kim reveals some secrets from her infamous 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries.

Most notably: Kris Jenner knew that Kim wasn't happy in the relationship, and tried to get her to run away the night before their big TV wedding.

"The night before, my mom pulled me aside, off camera, and was like, 'This isn't it for you. Why don't you go away and I'll handle it?'" Kim recalled.

"Why don't you go away and I'll handle it?" That sounds so ominous!!!

And Kris wasn't the only person telling Kim to call off the wedding. Producers behind the televised special were trying to give her a way out, too.

"My friends told me I just had cold feet," Kim said. "But even the producers said, 'You don't seem happy. You don't have to go through with this.'"

But Kim explains why she married him anyway — and why she divorced him just 72 days later:

I felt like, if I pulled out now, everyone's going to think I just did it for the show. Then afterwards, people were saying, "You have to stay married for a year," but I physically couldn't do it. When I made the decision [to divorce], everyone said it was made up for the show. Everyone really wanted to take me down.
