Here's The Powerful Message Kesha Wrote To Her Fans About Her Grammy Performance Tomorrow

"I just felt as if i had gotten a huge weight off of my shoulders."

Kesha is set to take the stage at the Grammy Awards on Sunday, and she just shared a powerful message about how much the upcoming performance means to her.

Now, you've probably heard that Kesha's had a difficult past few years. She sued her producer, Dr. Luke, for sexual assault, and asked to be released from her contract with him.

The case was dismissed, so she's still required to produce music with Sony — although she no longer works directly with Dr. Luke.

On a brighter note, Kesha was able to release a new album this year, and it's pretty fucking amazing. And this Sunday, she'll perform her lead single, "Praying," onstage at Madison Square Garden during the 60th Annual Grammy Awards.

So today, she shared the significance of that song with her followers on Twitter and Instagram:

"When I wrote 'Praying,' with Ben Abraham and Ryan Lewis, i just felt as if I had gotten a huge weight off of my shoulders," she said.

"It felt like an emotional raw victory for myself, one step closer to healing. I never could have known what would've happened these past few years."

"I just want to say that I needed this song in a very real way, I'm so proud and nervous and overwhelmed to be performing it at the Grammys on Sunday, and if you need it I hope this song finds you. 💖💖"

We'll be rooting for you tomorrow, Kesha.
