HOKAY. SO. You know Gigi Hadid, the supermodel.
Gigi was just in Mykonos, Greece, and she did not have a very good time. Unfortunately, the villa she was staying at got robbed.
So Gigi decided to vent her feelings on Instagram, in a post that's now causing a lot of controversy:
"PS(A). Don’t let insta fool u. Got robbed," she wrote in the post about Mykonos. "Never going back lol."
And then she told her followers to steer clear of Mykonos, too:
Wouldn’t recommend. Spend your money elsewhere.
As it turns out, many commenters had some THOUGHTS about Gigi's post.
Many pointed out that you can get robbed literally anywhere.
Including Gigi's own home city, New York.
Lots of commenters pointed out that Greece's economy relies heavily on tourism, and that Gigi's post could do real damage to Greek families.
And some called the post "self-centered."
Gigi has yet to comment on the backlash to her post, or take it down.
