These Sisters Just Shut It Down With The Most Epic Wedding Toast Song

"We've been living in your shadow, but it's time for us to step into the spotlight."

All maids of honor should now basically just quit trying because a pair of California sisters just delivered the best wedding speech of all time.

Kelsey and Maddie Hallerman were co–maids of honor at their sister Caitlin's wedding in June, and they delivered an epic, five-minute-long song medley that will make you want to be BFFs with them immediately.

After all the "sappy" talk at the wedding, the sisters say it's now their time in the spotlight. They kick off their toast with Tracy Chapman's "Give Me One Reason."

The sisters walk us through the bride's childhood through the Jackson 5's "I Want You Back."

Then describe the couple's meeting at USC to the tune of the Backstreet Boys' "Everybody."

Through a parody of Michael's Jackson's "Black or White," they describe how groom John Weaver proposed to Hallerman after a day spent going to the dump.

But the sisters really shine when they break it down gospel-style to sing about the couple's wedding day.

Maddie Hallerman told BuzzFeed News she and her sister began thinking of a way to do a creative toast soon after the couple got engaged.

She said they began making a list of song ideas they could make into a toast medley, though she added Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey got nixed because of their "severe inability to hit the high notes."

Since Kelsey Hallerman lives in Los Angeles, and Maddie Hallerman lives in San Francisco, they only had a little bit of time to write the song and practice it.

"Essentially, what you see in the video is the first time we actually gave it our all," Maddie Hallerman said. "And yeah....we didn't hold back (sorry to everyone's eardrums). What we lack in talent we make up for in enthusiasm."

Caitlin Hallerman told BuzzFeed News her sisters told her it was a "high risk, high reward" toast, but she didn't know any of the details.

But she wasn’t surprised they had a creative idea up their sleeves.

"If you know Kelsey and Maddie, you know they would do something totally outside of the box and that it would be hilarious," she said. "They honestly are this ridiculously funny all of the time, so I can't say I was super surprised that they pulled something like this off. But it was more than I could have ever expected or hoped for."

The newlywed said her favorite part was how "committed" her sisters were to their roles.

"I was crying I was laughing so hard and I think John was just shocked," she said. "Everything about it was amazingly perfect."

Maddie Hallerman added that their hard work paid off with a standing ovation from the crowd.

"By far the best part was watching Caitlin's reaction while we sang — can we call it singing?" she said. "More yelling. She was in tears she was laughing so hard. The audience was going crazy which immediately pumped the adrenaline."

Now, Caitlin Hallerman said she is wondering how she will ever top her sisters' speech when she is their maid of honor. "Let's just say the brainstorming has already started," she said.
