Please Never Attempt To Jump Across The NYC Subway Tracks Like This Doofus

    I can't watch this.

A NYC resident is proving stupidity is alive and well by jumping across a subway platform.

    I can't watch this.

The video, uploaded to Facebook earlier this week, is completely terrifying to watch. (Spoiler alert: He ends up fine.)

Most commenters on the video weren't really impressed, calling him an idiot.

"Bravo you are a big cool hard man, when some kid try's to copy this and kills him self," one wrote.

The Metropolitan Transit Authority of New York City, in a statement to BuzzFeed News, predictably called the stunt "asinine."

"It takes an enormous lack of common sense." It should also be noted that the MTA wasn't happy that we and other sites were posting this video: "It is a shame, however, that BuzzFeed and other media continue to promote this asinine behavior by posting these videos for others to emulate."

But bad behavior in the NYC subway has been in the news lately, including a teen who was recently arrested for triggering this explosion by placing metal on the tracks.

And this knucklehead isn't even the first guy to try the subway track jump. Here two not-so-bright guys try it.

    This guy is even worse.

Moral of the story: DON'T TRY THIS.
