Now That "Sesame Street" Is Airing On HBO, We Have Ideas For Some Mash-Ups

On Thursday, Sesame Workshop and HBO announced that new episodes of Sesame Street will air on the cable network and its streaming service.

The children's show will air exclusively on HBO for nine months, and then episodes will be aired on PBS -- the show's home for the past 45 years.

The partnership will allow the show to nearly double the number of episodes it will produce per season from 18 to 35.

So naturally everyone is wondering if the network, known for its gritty and sexually explicit content, will do any collaborations with its new kids show.

Looking forward to Sesame Street After Dark on @HBO.

Sesame Street already did a kid-friendly Game of Thrones skit last season called Game of Chairs, which was pretty great.

But that should only be the beginning.

We really need "Jon Elmo" IRL.

Or maybe Elmo could tag along with the cast of True Detective?
