This Is What It's Like Watching Miley Cyrus Perform Live On Breakfast TV
She came in like a wreeeeecking ball... And it was the best.
3:30am: You wake up.
Doors open at 5:30, but the ticket suggests getting there early.
You arrive shortly before 5:30am and jump in a line that proves you are not as dedicated as the hoards of people in front of you.
It's cold, and you didn't dress for it. You have no choice but to let it go.
You get through the gate and make your way to the stage. You jam yourself amongst the crowd.
You're tired and a little cranky, so inevitably, the people near you start bugging the shit out of you.
They start setting up the stage, and for a moment, it's all very exciting.
They announce that it'll be another hour and half before Miley arrives, so you go back to waiting. You soon forget what your life was like before you were standing in this crowd.
The time passes, and Miley makes her first appearance. The crowd goes MENTAL.
... And just like that, she's gone and it's back to waiting.
7:20am: The time has come. Miley is on the stage!
Miley pumps up her own audience:
And shares secrets from her dressing room:
Right before kicking it off with "Wrecking Ball":
And with a quick "BRB," she's gone again.
The sun's finally come out, and you're having the opposite problem that you were having two hours ago.
All of a sudden, Miley's back on stage with the promise of fun!
Before the cameras start rolling again, Miley takes footage of the audience and sings along with the fans to her song "Do My Thang".
There's another wait after "We Can't Stop" but by now, you're used to it, so you're like:
Next Miley is back with a cover of Gil Scott-Heron's "I'll Take Care of You," proving herself to be a true rockstar in the process.
As a thank you to all the fans who came out so early in the morning, Miley decides to perform an extra song, not to be televised. It is a cover of Coldplay's "The Scientist."
It's now 9am, and all your muscles hurt from standing in place for roughly the duration of Titanic, but it was totally and utterly worth it.
