NDT was an absolute dreamboat. One of many first-date reviews of professional ballet companies, written by Steffi Carter, author of "Date a Girl Who Dances."
I feel like Black Swan gave you plenty of reasons to steer clear of ballerinas. Here's why I think you should keep us close.
(Written in the same vein as “You should date a girl who reads” by Rosemarie Urquico, “Date A Girl/Guy Who Writes” found in Thought Catalog, and “(If a Writer Falls in Love With You) You Can Never Die” by Mik Everett.)
I think you might also just be dating terrible people, darling, disregarding dance capabilities. Yes, I absolutely know that what you say is often true. But I wrote in defense of dancers, of artists; I wrote hoping to persuade, not to be fair. And, I wrote with a black swan disclaimer.
There…
I did! Not because I'm unaware, but because it's given. It's a three-fold origin point: We're crazy! Why? and, How are we okay with this?
