4 LEGGED Chicken Living Normal Life In Northeast India
Chicken with four legs has been born in Northeast India. The chicken hatched five months ago and seems to be living a regular life. It has two, normal front legs and another pair of legs suspended from behind.
Veterinary Expert, Arjun Adhikari says a four legged chicken can happen. "Polymelia is basically a genetic deformity. It happens during development of embryo and sometimes not only in chicks but other ania veterinary expert said the second set of legs could be removed with minor surgery.mals also this happens and it's not a surprising thing but it happens very rarely," Adhikari said.
He says it's rare to see an animal with an unusual number of legs, but minor surgery can bring the chicken down to two legs.
