Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput got married on July 7, 2015.
And they welcomed their firstborn into the world on August 26, 2016.

Shahid shared a few Instagrams during the pregnancy to keep his followers psyched about the baby's birth, this one being the first. Even though "the mommy to be" was nowhere to be seen in this picture, we were cool with it.
The baby bump made its first public appearance at Preity Zinta's wedding reception party in Mumbai.
But Mira's appearances in the public eye were few and far between.
They went for a "babymoon" to Maldives and had a B.A.L.L.E.R time.
Shahid kept us going with his infrequent Instagrams.
And just a week before Mira went into labour, her baby bump made its debut on Shahid's Instagram.
It was reported that Shahid would take a paternity leave from shooting his upcoming film Padmavati to be a hands-on dad.
And on August 27, 2016, he and Mira took their neatly wrapped burrito baby girl home.
We aren't the only ones who haven't seen Shamira's baby yet. Bollywood celebs are also dying to see her.

Shahid's mother Neelima Azim told dna, that Shahid and Mira have already decided on what to name their daughter and that little Miss Kapoor is a beautiful baby. The name has not been revealed yet.
