I don't know about this advice, it seems like leaning towards the wife being ok with an open relationship. She is most likely about to be completely blindsided and the whole thing sounds terrible. I would suggest go see a therapist and maybe see one with the wife and discuss it there…

Agree! I feel so bad for the wife, can't say you meant those vows if you were feeling this way before the wedding. You experiment before you get married if you are feeling this way, or don't make that commitment to get married.
