What's Your Favorite Disney Movie Fact?

Everyone has one!

Everyone loves Disney movies, and chances are you've probably seen at least 50 of them in your lifetime.

And that means you've probably come across some random Disney knowledge that some people don't know.

For example, maybe you know that Belle, Cinderella, and Tiana all wear opera gloves to signify that they married into royalty, whereas Disney princesses who were born into royalty don't.

Maybe you did your own research and found out some cool ~behind-the-scenes~ facts, like how Beyoncé refused to audition for the role of Tiana and thought she would be offered the role anyway.

Perhaps your fact is a bit dark, like how Bobby Driscoll (who voiced Peter Pan and served as the model for the character) died penniless, unclaimed, and unidentified in an abandoned apartment building at the age of 31.

Wikipedia / Fair Use / / Disney

Driscoll was awarded a Juvenile Academy Award for his work in 1949. As a teen he was making over $50,000 a year but spent most of it on drugs. He died in New York in 1968 and was buried in an unmarked grave because no one claimed his body. It wasn't until over a year later that his mother (and everyone else) discovered what happened to him, thanks to a fingerprint match from the police station.

Or maybe your fact is more random, like how The Princess Diaries was actually produced by THAT Whitney Houston.

And the movie's sequel was written by Shonda Rhimes!

Now it's your turn! Tell us your favorite cool, bizarre, or even funny Disney facts in the comments below!

FYI: Disney animators use lime green to signify evil.
