This is 38-year-old Goa-based graphic designer and illustrator, Antima Nahar.

Nahar was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis at the age of 35, in 2013.

Initially, she started out with various kinds of treatments. The processes were quite draining for her.

"My doctor suggested that I start writing a journal to keep track of my health, emotions and diet. As I started writing, I realised that drawing was how I expressed myself best. So, why not do that?" Nahar told BuzzFeed.

"I have always been someone who couldn't just worry too much about things. I decided that I could either sulk or make the best of my condition. This was my way of coping with it and having a good laugh at my own expense," she said.
