One Of South India's Most Popular Magazines Just Created History With A Trans Model On Its Cover

Popular household magazine in Kerala, Vanitha, created history by having a transgender model on its July cover.

The model is Guruvayoor native, Deepthi (earlier known as Shinoj) and the cover story is about her transformation and the struggles she has had to face on a daily basis.

This also comes from the first state in India to have unveiled a transgender policy.
