About the 'Fortress'
Polish architecture firm KWK Promes designed and constructed this 6,100 sq. ft. fortress with the intent to create a home with the capacity to achieve maximum security while affording the ability to open up and transform into a more vulnerable state. Determined to leave no security issue untouched, entry requires several security codes and even then you are placed into an enclosed concrete bunker before being let in the house. There are movable walls, rolling aluminum gates and there's even a drawbridge connecting the living area to the indoor swimming pool.
