Due to come out at the end of 2016, the Assassin's Creed movie will be directed by Justin Kurzel with Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard currently enrolled, it is currently in pre-production according to IMDb.

China's take on Assassin's Creed, titled "Hunter Blade". A 30-part drama is set during the Second Sino-Japanese War (for anyone into their world history, this is set between 1937 and 1945 in the China and Burma areas, where the clash between China and Japan resulted in over 21m deaths, according to Wikipedia).
