6. Ombre Hair

Am I the only one wondering when the hair fading trend will fade out? So tired of seeing otherwise gorgeous locks look like they got dunked in a bucket of peroxide. This doesn't look good on anyone.

The popularity of guns may be the #1 weapon-related problem in America, but the #2 weapon-related problem is the proliferation of spiked "shoes." The only occasion that comes to mind where it would be apropos to have dangerously sharp spikes jutting out of your feet would be in some type of Mortal Kombat scenario. But since Mortal Kombat doesn't happen in real life, I don't see how spiked shoes are in any way functional or cute. All spiked shoes should be confiscated before someone becomes accidentally impaled on their Louboutins.

4. Floral Pants

I'm tired of reading about how "in" floral is right now in every fashion blog on the internet. From the red carpet to Urban Outfitters to Ann Taylor, it seems no demographic is safe from floral prints these days. Pants are probably the boldest way to wear this look, and every time I see someone wearing a cringeworthy pair I foresee that person's future self looking back at this legwear choice and facepalming.

3. The Cold Shoulder

The "cold shoulder" is literally just a perfectly good shirt with the shoulders snipped off. How does this type of top makes any sense? If it's warm out or you want to show some shoulder, why even waste your time with sleeves? Conversely, if it's cold out, why would you defeat the entire purpose of a long sleeve shirt by putting two holes in it? Pick one: 1) Warm, long sleeve shirt or 2) Sleeveless, breathable shirt. It's one or the other. Combining the two is completely self defeating.

2. Stiletto Nails

Rihanna has them. Adele has them. Beyoncé has them. Lady Gaga has them. Lena Del Rey has them.

Who cares if every mega-talented singer on the planet has "stiletto nails", they still look like claws and claws are sharp and scary. Do any of the aforementioned divas wear contacts? Do their PAs put their lenses in for them every morning so they don't scratch their corneas with their acylic talons? If you're not a cat, a bird, a reptile, Wolverine, or a witch, and if you don't have an assistant that will put your contacts on your eyeballs for your every day, you should probably steer clear of stiletto nails.

1. Open-toed Boots

Open-toed boots (or boots with cutouts of any kind) are the ultimate, mind-bogglingly dumb fashion trend. While a cold shoulder top may not make much sense, jackets and layers could help these dumb shirts get by in a far-reaching range of temperatures and climates. But knee-high boots with intentional holes in them are on a whole new level of stupidity, because nothing can help holey boots and there is not one weather condition that is right for them. In warm weather, you're legs will get sweaty and uncomfortable while your toes wiggle around freely in the summer air. In winter, your legs stay toasty while your socks hang out and your toes get frostbitten. Either scenario is highly unpleasant and therefore designers should stop wasting materials like leather and suede on shoes that no one needs.
