It's D.J. Tanner and Raven, IRL on The View.

On yesterday's episode of The View, Raven-Symoné and Candace Cameron Bure got into a dispute while discussing an Oregon bakery that was fined $135,000 after refusing to prepare a wedding cake for a lesbian couple.

Raven quickly sets out her opinion — that the bakery did indeed discriminate.

"I don't think this is discrimination at all," Bure counters.

Bure thought the fine from the Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries was “unconscionable."

IT BEGINS.

Raven continues to argue her side and listens to the other hosts discuss — but throughout she reminds us of the subtle artistry of non-verbal shade.

Let us break it down, step by shady step....

Smiling with your eyes? Do the opposite of that. Do it even more. Perfect.

Throw in a few blinks as if you've just temporarily blacked out and are only now returning to consciousness.

Cue subtle eye roll, to round things out.

Look straight up, so you can ask the heavens why this is happening to you.

And wrap it all up with a sloooow and cool once-over.

Ladies and gentleman, shade complete.
