“Margot is a big fish in a small pond—in her mind, at least. While holding auditions for the drama club, Margot puts hopefuls through a ghastly series of exercises, all designed to strip them down to their cores.”

Cox is also booked to guest star on Bravo’s Girlfriend’s Guide To Divorce as Adele Northrop, a Pulitzer Prize-winning war journalist.

4. Filming for the upcoming season is already underway:

6. Also joining the cast? Yvette Monreal as Regan, a “hip, edgy lesbian with a rebellious streak.” Keith Powers joins the cast as Theo, a possible love interest for Lauren (Bailey Buntain).

You might recognize Monreal from MTV’s Awkward and El Rey Network’s Matador, while Powers has previously appeared on Pretty Little Liars.

7. Faking It makes its return Sept. 23 at 10:30/9:30c on MTV.
