Laverne Cox Will Appear On MTV's "Faking It" Next Season

The OITNB actress will guest star as a "demanding" drama director in an upcoming episode of Season 2.

The Orange is The New Black star will make a guest appearance in an upcoming Season 2 episode as Margot, the director of Hester High's drama club.

Cox's character is described as, "demanding, intense, and full of herself."

"Margot is a big fish in a small pond—in her mind, at least. While holding auditions for the drama club, Margot puts hopefuls through a ghastly series of exercises, all designed to strip them down to their cores."

Cox is also booked to guest star on Bravo's Girlfriend's Guide To Divorce as Adele Northrop, a Pulitzer Prize-winning war journalist.

Also joining the cast? Yvette Monreal as Regan, a "hip, edgy lesbian with a rebellious streak." Keith Powers joins the cast as Theo, a possible love interest for Lauren (Bailey Buntain).

You might recognize Monreal from MTV’s Awkward and El Rey Network's Matador, while Powers has previously appeared on Pretty Little Liars.
