We asked the BuzzFeed community what they wanted to know about YouTuber, activist, and TLC reality star Jazz Jennings. They had plenty to ask — and Jazz had plenty to say. Here are her responses to a few of the best questions:

"Who is your role model?" — gavinh40a6a4544 via BuzzFeed

David Bertozzi/ BuzzFeed

"Of course there's Laverne Cox, Caitlyn Jenner, Janet Mock, and all those transgender activists out there really making a difference in our world — but my true role models are my family because they've taught me about unconditional love and support. They've guided me on a path to be a better person."

"What advice do you have on coming out to friends?" — tsokh8 via BuzzFeed

David Bertozzi/ BuzzFeed

"My main advice is to just stay strong and keep moving forward. If you have a positive attitude, then things will get better. You just always have to love yourself and know that one day you will live your life authentically."

"What is your favorite thing about your cat? Do you want more cats? Would you like to be a crazy cat lady someday?" — Azucena Perez Via Facebook

David Bertozzi/ BuzzFeed

"He's the one with only one ear. He sets himself aside from the other cats because he loves attention so much more. I love all my cats equally, and I also love all animals equally. My parents won't let me have dogs so I'm stuck with just cats but I want dogs, cats, birds, hamsters, everything."

"What has been the best moment of your life thus far?"— Nm00 via BuzzFeed

David Bertozzi/ BuzzFeed

"That's a hard one. I mean of course there has been so many moments of pride in my life where I've received awards or seen the differences I've made. The overall greatest moment of my life was the time I was able to learn to love myself and use that love, spread it to other people — just love everyone. Loving myself and moving forward."

"You have already done so much in your young life, and I understand it's impossible to see the future, lol, but what do you see (or would like to see) for yourself and the world 20-30 years from now?" — Josh Moby via Facebook

David Bertozzi/ BuzzFeed

"I'm the type of person that goes with the flow and sees what happens. I don't have a set plan for myself in the future. I know I want to continue making a difference in this world and helping other people. I always say I want to leave the world in a better state than when I arrived and I'm still living by those terms. So, I'm just going to see what happens!"

"Do you make your mermaid tails by yourself? How many do you have? Do you have a favorite?" — Leena Laloui via Facebook

David Bertozzi/ BuzzFeed

"I make the tails by myself, I'm not sure if I have a favorite but I think I've made seven tails now. They take around 25-30 hours [...] right now in my life I don't have a lot of time for the tails."

"How do you feel about the Supreme Court's decision to legalize same-sex marriage?" — Ashley Offman via Facebook

David Bertozzi/ BuzzFeed

"I'm so glad! I feel that everyone deserves to love whoever they want to love. I'm glad that it's possible now."

"What were the hardest struggles you had to go through with being transgender at a younger age?" — littlefruitcake via BuzzFeed

David Bertozzi/ BuzzFeed

"The main issue I face is that society isn't accepting of transgender individuals. They can say cruel things if they don't understand or they fear us because they don't know what it means to be transgender. I share my story so that I can help other people open up their minds and embrace transgender people for who they are."

"What advice do you have for other transgender and genderfluid teens who are being bullied by their peers?' — zanaiahbillups via BuzzFeed

David Bertozzi/ BuzzFeed

"Find a friend, peer, adult, or someone you think will accept you for who you are because you can't do this alone [...] you can't listen to what bullies say, who cares what they think? They can't judge your personality without understanding the content of your character."
