"SKAM Austin" Is The Best High School Show That's Not On Television

STAY WOKE.

This is Megan Flores. She's a high school student at Bouldin High School in Austin, Texas.

Meg likes a lot of the same things you like: smoothies, gossip, young love, and hanging out with her BFFs.

Their lives are filled with equal parts comedy and intense high school drama.

And, like all high schoolers, they're just trying to get through the day without having a high school–induced panic attack.

Here's the interesting thing about Meg and her friends, though: THEY DON'T ACTUALLY EXIST.

They're characters in a TV series called SKAM Austin. Episodes air Fridays on Facebook, but you can keep up with the show IN REAL TIME by catching the daily clip drops on SKAM Austin, and by following the characters on Instagram.

Now here's where it gets really interesting: if the girls are heading to a party on Thursday night, a pic like this will show up in your Insta feed on Thursday night.

Then you'll see that scene play out in the full episode on Friday. It's like if your insta friends had a TV show about their lives!

And the show doesn't sugarcoat high school life in 2018. It gets real. It gets raw. And it is woke...AF.

Don't miss the most riveting high school show that's not on television. Follow your favorite characters on Instagram, and watch the new series at SKAM Austin, or just click the "Watch" tab on Facebook!
