And since people still wouldn't stop talking about it, Clegg had to tweet to say he wasn't invited.
For clarity, I was not invited to #BBCDebate. I would have happily taken part and proudly defended our strong @LibDems record in government.
And there are loads of people who think it's unfair that Clegg wasn't invited to the debate.
