Ronald McDonald Is Rocking A New Look For The Social Media Age

And dare we say, he looks a little less creepy.

The aim, according to the company's senior vice president and global relationship officer Dean Barrett is to allow cusomters to "engage with brands in different ways and Ronald will continue to evolve to be modern and relevant".

The designer of the mascot's new wardrobe is Ann Hould-Ward, who has credits in a number of Broadway and off-Broadway productions, as well as having won a Tony Award for Beauty and the Beast.

“Designing new clothes for Ronald McDonald was one of the highlights of my career,” she said.
