Ronald McDonald Is Rocking A New Look For The Social Media Age

    And dare we say, he looks a little less creepy.

    McDonald's is set to give Ronald McDonald a makeover as the fast food company looks to give its mascot a stronger online presence.

    The company has said Ronald McDonald will play an active role on its social media channels and will engage with customers using the #RonaldMcDonald hashtag.

    The aim, according to the company's senior vice president and global relationship officer Dean Barrett is to allow cusomters to "engage with brands in different ways and Ronald will continue to evolve to be modern and relevant".
