Tom Holland Regrets Not Wearing Heels For "Lip Sync Battle," And Now I Love Him Even More

"Spider-Man, Spider-Man, nobody can do what Tom can."

So, Idk about you guys, but I was kind of upset when I first heard that there was going to be a new Spider-Man film.

After all, the sequel to The Amazing Spider-Man starring Andrew Garfield just premiered in 2014. PLUS, I knew in my heart of hearts that Tobey Maguire would be my forever Spider-Man, no matter what.

That being said, I tried to stay open-minded and give the new guy, Tom Holland, a chance.

And, tbh, after learning more about him, I really warmed to the idea of him being the next actor to don the red and blue suit that I hold so dear.

For one thing, he has a British accent (always a win, if you ask me). But he is also super loyal to his fans.

But, what really convinced me he's amazing was his performance on Spike TV's Lip Sync Battle.

He danced to Rihanna's "Umbrella" and it was FUCKING 👏 PHENOMENAL👏.

I had seen him dance before. Last year, he did the "Typo Challenge" with Zendaya and choreographer, Deja Carter.

In fact, he has a whole background in dance and played the lead in Billy Elliot the Musical from 2008 to 2010. So I think it's safe to say that the boy has some moves.

Now at this point, I've probably watched his LSB performance more times than I'd like to admit. But, in a recent interview with People, the Spider-Man: Homecoming star revealed something that made me want to go back and watch it again:

I said, ‘You want me to dance in the rain and do a front flip? I can’t do that in heels.' I wish I had now. That would have shut things down.

Now, me personally? I can barely walk in heels without wobbling and can't dance to save my life. But the mere fact that Tom was even considering dancing in the rain IN HEELS, proves to me, once and for all, that he is worthy of the Spidey suit.
