Despite being a successful neurosurgeon, Trisha Raje is the black sheep in her family, who are Indian-American royalty. So, when she tries to get back into their good graces at an important event, the last thing she needs is to have a (literal) run-in with the caterer, chef DJ Kaine. But, when DJ turns out to be the older brother of one of Trisha's patients, she's forced to interact with him, check her pride at the door, and reevaluate what she thought she knew.
