Ya'll know Selena Gomez (not a question). She's fierce, fabulous, and mega-talented, so it should be no surprise that she's the most followed celebrity on Instagram.

In fact last September, Selena actually made history as the first person to ever reach 100 million followers.

Because of her groundbreaking accomplishment, the "Bad Liar" singer was featured in Time's special project, "Firsts."

The collection showcases women who have changed the world and made history by being the first to accomplish something unique. Hillary Clinton, Serena Williams, Oprah Winfrey, Shonda Rhimes, Madeline Albright, and Gabby Douglas have also been featured, along with 39 other prominent female athletes, politicians, scientists, journalists, and more.

Selena, who was labeled by Time as "The Tastemaker," opened up to the magazine about her relationship with social media.

She said, "I am glad I grew up in the time that I did. I think it’s really hard to be a kid now, especially with social media. I can’t imagine what it would be like to grow up with that. It’s already difficult to get up every day and just feel good about yourself without seeing the highlights of everyone else’s life."

The singer continued:

That’s why I like being vulnerable with my fans on social media. I like that they’ve seen my mistakes. I try to use that as a way to connect with them. That’s all I can do. I hope that they know that strength doesn’t mean that you have to put on a facade. Strength is being vulnerable.

And she really does share a lot with her fans, such as late-night selfies...
