During the segment, Stephen received a call via his Apple Watch and tried (unsuccessfully) to quiet it, resulting in Mindy roasting the hell out of him.
Let me set the scene — Mindy is sharing what it was like to work with Emma Thompson when Stephen's watch says: "Thank you for choosing Marriott Hotels." LMAOOO!
"My watch got a phone call and I tried to put my hand over it because I forgot to put it to sleep, and it was a call from Marriott Hotels," he tried to explain.
"Your rewards program from Marriott interrupted my touching story about Emma Thompson," she joked.
"Wait a second, hold on... I have so many questions... You're rich! Why do you need an awards program??"
Mindy tried to go on with the interview but said, "I don't even know. I have so many more questions about your financial situation. I don't use a rewards program!"
She continued, "He has the No. 1 show on TV and he's like, 'Ohhh, gotta make sure if I travel, that me and my wife and my three children are being hosted in an economical way."
