If it feels like we've been writing a ton about Titanic recently... it's because we have. It's the film's 20th anniversary and it's bringing up a lot of emotions for people, ok?! So, let's talk about it some more.

In addition to admitting that she "absolutely never" listens to "My Heart Will Go On," she revealed that her beloved Leonardo DiCaprio wasn't the person she initially auditioned with.
Heavy shit, indeed.
While she said that her audition with Matthew was "completely fantastic," she knows that "it would've been a totally different film."
Matthew McConaughey actually addressed the casting possibility during an interview with Larry King back in 2012.

He told Larry, "There was a rumor that I was offered the role — the Leonardo DiCaprio role — in Titanic, but turned it down. But that rumor's false. I never got offered that role, and if I did get offered that role I'm going to find that agent, because we lost a bunch of money!"
Even though he wasn't chosen for the role, he has still had an amazing career, which I'm personally grateful for because How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days is one of my favorite movies. But, I can't help but wonder what could've been...
