Drake Said He Shared Photos Of His Son To "Free Himself" From The Blanket Of Celebrity

Okay, but how cute is he??? I already need more photos.

This time two years ago, I was furiously scrolling my timeline in shock when it was revealed — via diss track, no less — that Drake has a son.

In a scathing reply song, 'cause that's how rap beefs work, Drake said, "I wasn't hiding my kid from the world, I was hiding the world from my kid."

True enough, the "Toosie Slide" rapper kept his private life private...until last month, when he shared photos of his 2-year-old son, Adonis for the very first time.

In a new interview on Lil Wayne's Young Money Radio, Drake opened up about why he decided to share the photos. "I posted those pictures — it was great for me. It was great to just share that with the world," he said.

The 33-year-old continued, "I just felt like…it wasn't even anything I talked to anybody about, or anything I planned. I just woke up one morning and I was like, 'You know what? This is just something that I want to do.'"

"I want to be able to go places with my son and share memories with my son. I don't want to feel like just because of a life choice I made to be a 'celebrity' that I got to make everybody live under this blanket. So I just wanted to free myself of that," he concluded.

Well, I, for one, am glad that he shared the pics because LOOK AT THIS CUTIE PIE!!!!
