Weeks later, she broke barriers again, becoming the first poet to ever perform at the Super Bowl.
Yesterday, just six weeks after performing on a national stage, the 22-year-old poet was profiled on her way home.

Quote-tweeting her previous comments about living in a "contradictory society," Amanda wrote, "A security guard tailed me on my walk home tonight. He demanded [to know] if i lived there because 'you look suspicious.'"
