It's not video game news, however this is huge news for the culture. The sequel to the 1998 cult classic The Big Lebowski will begin filming sometime this October, and die hard fans of the first film can't wait."The Dude" returns with his bowling partner Walter, and this time their on a quest to save the bowling alley from being turned into a parking garage.Jeff Bridges and John Goodman return as America's favorite bowlers, The Dude and Walter Sobchak. They receive the bad news that their bowling alley will be closing in a week to make room for a parking garage. The garage is being erected by the corrupt land owner Bavarian Illuminati played by Bill Murray.Walter and The Dude team up with bowling enemy Jesus Quintana (John Turturro) to head to Washington to seek out The Dude’s only son Mark Lebowski (Jesse Eisenberg) to get help saving their bowling alley. Mark Lebowski is the youngest congressman in the history of the United States at 18-years-old, and he's not so quick to help dad with his dilemma tho.Philip Seymour Hoffman will be returning as Brandt to assist the trio to D.C., also Julianne Moore will return as Maude Lebowski (Mark Lebowski's mother). There is no word yet if Tara Reid will be appearing in the film after she leaked the project in 2011, however Joel Coen will be back to direct the film which he wrote with his brother Ethan Coen. There are also rumors that there will be a special guest appearances by Ron Paul and his son Rand Paul.The Big Lebowski 2: The Dude Goes To Washington is scheduled to be released sometime in 2015. The Dude Abides!
