Response to What Genius Hack Should Every Teacher Know?:
If it’s a school with a 1:1 initiative, I highly suggest Google Classroom, Kahoot, Class Dojo, remind, and Socrative. All are great ways to keep kids (and parents!) engaged. For seating charts (I have 6 periods), I print 6 hard copies of my class table arrangement, then use mini Post-It strips, put a kid’s name on each individual strip, and organize the kids that way. Next time I want to make a new seating chart, I just move the post it-it’s around! Put each chart in a plastic page protector, and use dry erase markers to make annotations on your chart for substitute teachers!!
