Julia Louis-Dreyfus won her millionth* Emmy tonight.
And since she's one of the funniest women on the planet, Julia had some good lines in her acceptance speech, like when she apologized for her show Veep for tearing "down the wall between comedy and politics."
But then she started getting emotional, and hit us with this whopper.
It turns out that Julia's father, William Louis-Dreyfus, passed away on Friday, Sept. 16 at the age of 84.
What a tribute.
