    You Must Watch The Cast Of "Downton Abbey" Reenact A Scene With American Accents

    Turns out it'd be a MUCH different show.

    In case you don't know, Downton Abbey is an insanely popular show about an aristocratic family in Britain.

    You know, rich people do rich people things and speak in British accents.

    But have you ever wondered what the show would sound like if it were set in... America? Luckily, Stephen Colbert had Allen Leech, Michelle Dockery, and Hugh Bonneville give us a little taste of the Downton universe with a U.S. flair.

    Turns out Lady Mary could have also been in Clueless.

    While Robert sounds less like the Earl of Grantham and more like Alec Baldwin in the forties.

    Oh, and it's pretty obvious that someone has been watching Project Runway because Tom Branson really has that whole Tim Gunn-vibe going on.
